Our consulting approach

Our approach is participatory, practical, and people-centered. We work with management teams to develop clear, shared goals (purpose, vision), analyze the environment, key challenges, ambitions, and potential with you, and support you in deciding on a focused set of options for action. Together, we design strategic roadmaps that are culturally anchored and operationally compatible in interactive workshops with key groups from the organization. Consulting process and formats

Our transformation consulting services can be a brief impulse or clarification, or they can take place over several months. The intensity depends on the client's needs. Basically, our strategy work proceeds from the outside in, i.e., we start with the macro and micro environment, then jointly analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the organization, and from there begin to iteratively sharpen the strategic focus.

  1. Clarification of the assignment: We talk to clients and sponsors to establish a clear understanding of the assignment and roles for both you and us. At the end of the discussion, both sides decide whether to proceed with the consulting and make a concrete plan for the next steps.

  2. Optionally, before starting a strategy project, we conduct a pulse check, i.e., we use qualitative discussions with various stakeholders from the organization to gain an in-depth picture of the organization's strategic starting position, strengths, potential, and culture.

  3. Strategic kick-off workshop: The results of the pulse check serve as the starting point for an intensive workshop in which the common goals (purpose, vision) are reviewed and worked on, and the approach to the strategy process is jointly refined. At the end of the workshop, all participants have a clear picture of the approach, know the individual visions for the future, and have a clearly defined work assignment until the next workshop.

  4. Strategy workshops for developing interim results and ensuring coordinated communication. We recommend validating or challenging selected interim results with various stakeholder groups during the process. Although this means additional loops, it helps to clarify the strategy and ensure its later acceptance within the organization.

  5. Operationalization of the strategy: Development of a clear roadmap with milestones.

  6. Strategy communication in a workshop-format and start of implementation.

  7. Optional: Depending on the customer's situation, further support in the form of follow-up workshops or coaching sessions for managers may be helpful.
