BOUTIQUE ADVISORY · STRATEGY · TRANSFORMATION · LEADERSHIP · ZURICH · SWITZERLAND
Transformations don't fail at the strategy level. They fail at the dynamics underneath.
Advisory for strategic transformation, strategy development, and leadership, for senior executives who want to create real movement in complex organisations.
Transformation, strategy and leadership consulting that addresses the real blockages, not the surface.
Most transformations don't fail because of a flawed concept. They fail because of hidden resistance, informal power dynamics and the simple fact that complexity cannot be argued away.
transformind is a boutique consultancy for executive boards. Bernhard Nitz leads every engagement personally. No subcontracting, no junior teams, no off-the-shelf programmes.
The work focuses on three fields that, in practice, are tightly interwoven: organisational transformation, strategy development, and executive coaching. The Ambiflow diagnostic model makes visible where organisations are structurally blocked, before blockages turn into crises.
The standard is a single criterion: whether something actually starts moving in your organisation.
Resistance as information, not as a problem
We treat resistance as information. What is it telling us about the organisation? Often, it is the most important signal in the entire transformation.
No junior teams, no handing off
At transformind, Bernhard Nitz works personally on every engagement. From the first conversation to the closing review. This isn't a quality promise, it's the business model.
Transformation as a learning process, not a project
Projects end. Transformations don't. Ambiflow is the steering model that treats transformations as a continuous learning process and provides concrete operational impulses for it.
The value of an external counterpart
Not every transformation or difficult situation needs external guidance. The situations below have one thing in common: internal forces aren't enough to break the pattern. Either analytical clarity is missing, or capacity to act is blocked within the system itself, or the role of an open counterpart cannot be filled internally because every internal person is part of the very dynamic that needs to be clarified.
LEADERSHIP CHANGE
New CEO, new executive board member
A change of role at the top. Strategy needs repositioning, the executive board needs to find a new footing, and time pressure is real. The first 180 days decide more than the next three years.
STRATEGY RESET
Strategic redirection under pressure
Market, regulation, technology or competitive landscape have shifted. The current strategy no longer holds. The decision to redirect has been made, but the priorities are not yet clear.
TEAM TENSIONS
Conflicts, blockages, quiet paralysis
In executive boards that have worked together for years, undercurrents emerge: subtle tensions, unclear roles, tacit avoidance patterns. Often, the issue isn't the matter at hand, but what remains unspoken between people.
AI-ADOPTION
AI is changing your value creation
The tools have been deployed, but productivity gains are not materialising. Or pilot projects are running, but no one has decided which roles will actually change. AI adoption rarely fails on technology, almost always on the organisation.
PREPARING FOR CHANGE
Getting the organisation ready
Before launching a change initiative, it pays to ask: Is the organisation able to carry this change? Where are the critical pressure points? Who needs to be involved so the change doesn't fail in execution?
SUCCESSION
Generational handover at the top
Senior executives are stepping into retirement. With them, the informal leadership system disappears, the one that is documented nowhere. The next generation inherits roles, not networks.
STRATEGY · SELF-ASSESSMENT · 3 MINUTES
How strategy-ready is your organisation?
The Strategy Flight-Check is a reflection tool from our consulting practice: 20 questions across five dimensions, completed in three minutes. No score, no ranking, but a mirror that surfaces the right questions. Anonymous, no data collection.
ADAPTABILITY · ADAPTIVE ORGANISATION
How adaptable is your organisation?
Adaptability shows in how an organisation behaves under pressure to change, long before it can be read from the result. It becomes visible before the numbers confirm it, and it pays off on a delay. We describe how it can be recognised and why the effect lags behind the effort.
DIAGNOSTIC MODEL · PILOT
Ambiflow: the diagnostic model from transformind
Ambiflow asks the question that usually precedes the plan: Where does value flow in your organisation, and where does it stall? The model examines six dimensions simultaneously, from bottleneck clarity to the maturity of your leadership system. The Pulse-Check delivers a robust initial diagnosis within a few working days, before any interventions are decided.
Ambiflow doesn't replace strategic analysis. It answers the question that usually precedes such analysis: What is the actual blockage?

Frequently asked questions
What sets transformind apart?
Every engagement is led personally by Bernhard Nitz. No junior teams, no subcontracting. The Ambiflow diagnostic model surfaces structural blockages before any interventions are decided. And transformation is treated as a continuous learning process, not as a project with a fixed end. The methodological foundation is the complementary consulting approach of Königswieser & Network, one of the leading systemic consulting schools in Europe.
How do I get started with transformind?
With an initial consultation—non-binding and free of charge. You describe the situation, we listen, and at the end we discuss together whether and how a partnership makes sense. If so, this is typically followed by a sparring session or an Ambiflow Pulse Check as a structured assessment. From this process, we can develop manageable consulting modules that can be commissioned step by step (as needed). This gives you full control, ensuring your budget is always allocated where it achieves the greatest ROI.
The initial consultation lasts 60 minutes and takes place in Zurich or via video call.
What does a collaboration with transformind cost?
Engagements are scoped after the first conversation. We share an estimate that reflects the depth and ambition of the work, not standardised packages. The principle is simple: as little as possible, as much as necessary. A sparring session has a different investment profile than an Ambiflow Pulse Check, which has a different profile than a strategic accompaniment over twelve to eighteen months. We establish the right format together before any commitment is made.
