transformind is a boutique management consultancy for organisational transformation based in Zurich. We guide executives and organisations through complex transformation processes, strategic realignments and demanding leadership situations – with consulting and executive coaching, in Switzerland and internationally.

Our clients are executives at board and senior level – at moments when complexity is growing, strategic clarity is lacking and the usual answers no longer suffice.

Bernhard Nitz

I founded transformind in 2022 as a deliberate boutique consultancy – a consequence of over 20 years of experience in IT and management consulting and the conviction that effective consulting requires direct accountability.

What drives me: transformations and strategic changes fail because of human and organisational dynamics – not because of the concept. I have seen this as Solution Lead at Cambridge Technology Partners and Atos, as Senior Consultant at oddEVEN and in every engagement I have led with transformind since. That experience is what gave rise to Ambiflow: a proprietary diagnostic and operating model that makes organisational bottlenecks visible across six dimensions.

In addition to consulting, I am involved as an elected member of the board of trustees of the Profond Pensionfund (employer representative), as an elected member of the board of the Kilchberg Business Association (UVK), and as a member of the Lake Zurich Business Forum (UFZ).

I write regularly on leadership and transformation. Most recently published: "Führungsstark in die Zukunft! Was Leader jetzt brauchen" [Leading with Strength into the Future: What Leaders Need Now], ManagerSeminare, April 2025.

 

In 2023 I was a keynote speaker at the Accounting Summit in Berlin: "Accounting Transformation – Digital Mindset as the Basis for Technological Change".

What I have worked on

The mandates transformind works on share a common characteristic: the real challenge is rarely fully visible at the point of first contact. What begins as a strategy project often turns out to be a leadership question. What is set up as a transformation programme stalls at organisational patterns that were not part of the original brief.

Every mandate is led personally, from diagnosis to conclusion. No delegation, no off-the-shelf methodology.

Recurring themes from practice: transformations that stall because of informal power dynamics; strategy processes in which the leadership team itself is the bottleneck; executive coaching in situations of structural change where rational solutions no longer hold.
